Pr. Abdallah OUGAZZADEN

Professor, Georgia Tech, Director of the Joint International Research Lab GT-CNRS, Director of Georgia Tech Lorraine, the European Campus of GIT, Co-President of Lafayette Institute the platform of technology transfer . He worked in R&D as Senior researcher at France Telecom for more than 8 years and one year at Optoplus/Alcatel (France) as Manager of Optoelectronic Materials Group. In 1999, he joined Bell-Labs at Lucent Technologies, as the Manager of the Materials Growth. He kept this position with Agere Systems (USA), and then he worked as Process Manager at TriQuint Semiconductor (USA). Dr. Ougazzaden joined the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2005. His current research activity is in the field of semiconductors and related devices. He has authored 250 international scientific papers and holds 20 patents and Co-founder of the Institute Lafayette. He is the recipient of Georgia Tech Steven A. Denning Award 2013 for Global Engagement and France Telecom Best Research Award 1990.
